Common Needs

Thank you for visiting our current ongoing needs list. This is a list of needs that the Ranch has consistently. For more specific or time-sensitive needs, please read our newsletter page

  • Canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned tuna, canned chicken, non-perishable condiments, peanut butter, syrup, honey, rice, dry baking goods, dry beans, dry noodles, maseca.

  • Bar soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, general first-aid supplies, razors.

  • Ear buds, 3-hole puncher, standing fans, art supplies, antiseptic wipes, USB 32 GB thumb drives, iPads.

  • 50-foot garden hose, wheelbarrows, crescent wrenches, .095 trimmer line, paint brushes, paint rollers, DeWalt impact drivers, hammers, tape measures, levels, 3/8in tarp, manual staple gun.

    • Dress and tennis shoes all kids and youth sizes.

    • Blue jeans and pleated pants size 10-16.

    • Socks all sizes.

    • Underwear (both sexes), bras, training bras, all sizes.

Amazon Needs

Please Note: Our Amazon Needs List is a guide and lists products that are commonly used by children and staff at the Ranch. Please email ranchosantamarta@cox.net with a copy of your receipt and the shipping arrival date to receive your donation receipt.

Other Ways To Give

Layers of Giving

Layer 1

First layer of giving is straight donations sent by check made out to Bethesda Teaching Ministry or Rancho Santa Marta or by our online giving account. Additionally, you can give via Venmo.

Layer 2

Another way of giving is thru purchasing items from organizations that support nonprofit/charitable giving like Walmart or Amazon Wish for example and sending them to our office.

These online gifts are received at our office and are taken down to Rancho Santa Marta via Rod & Tina, Bill & Kaye or whomever is driving down to the ranch.

Layer 3

Layer three is when you select charities to give thru your payroll giving; organizations like Benevity, Salesforce, eMi, etc. will send money to us that people give as charitable donations from their paychecks.

If you are interested in this way of giving, contact your payroll representative and ask if this is available to you thru your employer.

Layer 4

The final layer of giving we see frequently is thru stocks, cash management / brokerage accounts and IRA accounts like Fidelity Charitable and others.

These require special donor letters or receipts for tax purposes, so if this interests you, just call or email the office and we can help you. We are a vetted 501(c)3 through trusted organizations like Charity Navigator and Guidestar plus many others.
