Saul has been with us for around five years now and he is ready to springboard into the San Vicente life. He has finished with his education at the ranch, completing the ninth grade. He is 19 years old and has been under the guidance of Jeronimo and Martin, our construction workers at the ranch, for the last six months. We would like him to stay a little longer to continue to learn the different trades here at the ranch, but he is determined to start his life on his own.
Jeronimo has taken on the ministry of being a Big Brother to those young men who have left or are leaving our care. Alejandro was the first, who is working and living in town and now Saul. Jero helps them get established with a place to work and a rental to live in. He will periodically check up on them to make sure they are faithful in their work and paying their bills. Pray for Saul as he takes on this huge step in his life. Imagine the uncertainty he will feel as he leaves the ranch and becomes independent. Praise the Lord that Jeronimo has taken on this need as a ministry to these young men.
