Be a blessing to the kids of Rancho Santa Marta!
There are many opportunities for you to support the Ranch!
There are so many challenges with running the Ranch, one is financial. Many expenses are associated with caring for our 50 residents around the clock and operating a school for 200. We trust God in His provisions to sustain us. We appreciate financial gifts of any size. Thank you for your prayers and support. Blessings!
It gets up to 110 degrees at the Ranch during the “hot” months. A very generous donation allowed us to construct the majority of a new covered gymnasium. This new space will give the kids a great place to play and recreate shielded from the hot sun. The kids cant wait to use it! We are so thankful for the progress made so far, however we are in need of materials and supplies to finish this tremendous addition to the Ranch. Block/brick, electrical supplies, flooring material and labor to pull it all together. Our goal is $15,000 in donation or inkind gifts. Please pray for this project and the Lord’s provision in allowing it’s completion. Blessings!
Everyday Needs List
Here is the list of some of the things the Ranch is currently in need of. We appreciate so very much your help in providing these seemingly ordinary items. They may not seem like a big deal, but they make a big difference to us here at the Ranch. Anything you can do will be warmly welcome! Shampoo, Socks, Paper, Backpacks. Blessings!
Monthly Giving Program
Be a blessing to the Ranch year-round! We need your support, both financially and with prayers. Our Monthly Giving Program is a tremendous opportunity to help the Ranch in a sustainable way. It takes a lot to run and maintain the Ranch. Your monthly commitment helps us get the job done!
Our Missionaries make it all happen! Please consider financially supporting these amazing workers.
Denise felt a call on her life and came to visit from Oregon to see if she could use her gifts at Rancho Santa Marta. She said, ” I don’t speak Spanish but I am willing to learn, and I am an occupational therapist (OT). Would I be of help to your ministry?” That was over 18 years ago and she is still with us! She is a wonderful, loving young woman. The children and staff have grown to love her dearly.
Our Argentinian elementary teacher has been a faithful servant of Santa Marta since 1997. She visited the ranch with an American group and fell in love with the ministry and has been serving in various capacities for over nineteen years.
We are blessed to have her as part of our staff. If you are desirous to help with her support, please designate your gift for Lucia Tarifa.
Monica was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and was accepted on our staff more than 9 years ago. She is single and has two grown children; a son 20 and a daughter 23. She is enjoying her sweet grandson from her daughters marriage. Monica comes to us from Modesto, California where she attended Cornerstone Baptist church. She felt called to serve the Lord working with children so made the sacrifice to move to Rancho Santa Marta. She is chief cook in our school, and is a teachers aid in the Kindergarten class. She works also with our children that are mentally challenged.
Rod & Tina
Rod and Tina Struiksmas along with their five children moved to Rancho Santa Marta. Challenges abound, problems exist, negative attitudes persist but we can battle them all through the promises of the Word of God. We will continue to share what God is doing here at the ranch as we trust that you will continue to lift us up in prayer as you read about Bill and Kaye’s deputation trips, the school program and the different ways you can support Santa Marta financially.
